Mixed Reality Lab Designer

My latest project is investigating the use of mixed reality technologies when applied to complex spatial design tasks, in particular, looking at lab design. This generally involves many stakeholders, with a wide set of requirements ranging from immutable safety requirements to unquantifiable human factor considerations.

The project embeds these requirements directly into the tool, prompting users to create functional and feasible spaces as they explore potential solutions. The mixed reality lab designer should require no training to pick up and utilise, providing an opportunity to remove ambiguity from spatial design task discussions, whilst ensuring key requirements are not overlooked.
