From March – June, I will be visiting Nara University of Science and Technology (NAIST) as a visiting researcher. I will be joining the IMD Lab, a research group specialising in Augmented Reality application research through the integration of knowledge from the fields of Computer Graphics, Computer Vision and Human-Computer Interaction. Their expertise and capability should be vital to my PhD, and will be the ideal home for the next iteration of City Blocks, an Augmented Reality collaborative urban design platform.
Unfortunately, due to Covid-19, this project was ended much earlier than anticipated! I enjoyed my time with the lab and hope to work with them again sometime in the future.
