At the Museum of English Rural Life, the purpleSTARS were interested in exploring Virtual Reality as a way to extend an 2D animation of an English forest through the seasons to become a fully immersive experience. The animation plays from within a 3D scene, with the scene reflecting the animation as it rolls through the seasons. This prototype was used to support the commission of a team to create the exhibit now available in the museum.
