So I bought a laser cutter and a small crate of 3mm of mdf. After using one extensively to create the 3D Settlers of Catan, I jumped at the opportunity to buy a second hand cutter. The cutter works amazingly, and it is something I am always looking out for uses for!
I primarily design stuff using Inkscape, a free 2D vector art program and K40 whisperer to transfer files to the cutter. The key drawback is I have to wait for sunny days as I don’t have proper ventilation in the flat!
