I delved into lighting and level creation using Unreal Engine, focusing on the powerful tools the engine offers for creating visually striking environments. The project involved designing complex levels with realistic lighting setups, including dynamic day-night cycles and atmospheric effects. By experimenting with different light types, such as point, spot, and directional lights, I fine-tuned how light interacts with objects, creating natural shadows and enhancing the mood of the scene. I also explored post-processing effects to elevate the visual fidelity and depth of the environment.

This project strengthened my understanding of Unreal Engine’s lighting system, material design, and level optimization techniques. I gained valuable experience in balancing aesthetics and performance, ensuring that the levels ran smoothly while maintaining high-quality visuals.
