Projects: Nozawaonsen

Completing my PhD in Mixed Reality was both an incredibly rewarding and challenging journey, culminating in the successful defense of my thesis. Achieving this dream was made possible thanks to the inspiring environment and support network of the Design and Manufacturing Futures Lab, where I had the privilege of exploring the frontiers of spatial computing and interactive design tools.

Since then, I’ve embarked on another dream: living and working in Japan. Together with Kassie, we’ve been running a beautiful villa in Nozawaonsen during a snowy season, embracing the unique lifestyle and opportunities the country offers. Looking forward, we’re excited to find new challenges and ideally settle into permanent roles that allow us to continue growing and contributing in this amazing place.
